Are you stuck at home thinking about all the things you could be doing? Then we have the challenge for your body and mind!

Gather your fellow intrepid trekkers together, or go solo to claim the peaks for yourself, and take on as many of these UK mountains as you can, virtually, and raise funds for the Emmaus Emergency Appeal.

How does it work?

Taking part is easy! Simply complete the below form and we’ll send you The 20 Mountains for Emmaus Challenge pack via email, we’ll even help you to set up your online fundraising page.

When you sign up you can select the mountain/s you want to climb and the time frame you want to complete it in. If you’re really competitive then sign up with friends, family or work colleagues and see who can complete the challenge faster or raise the most money.

Make sure you’ve got your fitness tracker ready to record those crucial steps! For example, to climb the equivalent of Snowdon you would need climb 300 floors or 20,000 steps! There will be a handy guide in your pack but a fitbit or smartphone is great for helping to track and share your progress.

Once you’ve signed up make sure to share your progress, accomplishments and photos on social media using #20MountainsForEmmaus and #TeamEmmaus. Why not get the kids involved and grab some fancy dress?

If you raise over £100 you’ll receive a medal to celebrate your fantastic effort. Don’t let this limit you though, everything you raise will make a vital difference.

Any queries, please ping our friendly fundraising team an email and we will get in touch!

The Emmaus Emergency Fund

By shutting the social enterprises due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our communities can’t access the vital income that they need to keep a roof over companions’ heads and put food on the table. Many Emmaus communities will not have the financial resources to survive this crisis.

Our Emergency fund has been set up to meet the costs of keeping the communities open and companions housed until we can re-open our shops – however long that may be.
