In May 2025, the government closed its consultation on the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act — legislation introduced to raise standards and improve consistency across supported housing services.

Our response was shaped by peer-led research involving over 160 residents and staff from Emmaus communities. It highlights the importance of supporting providers, protecting residents, and ensuring that people with lived experience help shape how services are delivered.
