One of our brilliant customers Sarah Groombridge is raising money for Emmaus Dover by challenging herself to a 12,000ft skydive. She’s braver than we are!
Sarah is hoping to raise £500 which will help provide ongoing care and support for people who have experienced homelessness in our community.
She said: “I have decided to raise money for Emmaus Dover as I think the work it does is incredible, helping people to help themselves out of difficult times. The charity is very close to my heart as my sister-in-law Karen once worked there. When Karen sadly passed away from breast cancer 15 years ago, Emmaus Dover named one of its community buildings after her – ‘Karen’s House’. Through my skydive fundraiser, I am hoping to raise as much as I can to help Emmaus Dover continue its great work through these difficult times.”
We know that these are really tough times for everyone, but if you’d like to help Sarah reach her target, please donate here.
Thank you so much for your support.
