Community Worker

Emmaus UK is a federal body supporting 29 Communities and 8 Groups in the UK.  We are part of Emmaus International with over 400 Communities worldwide. Emmaus communities offer homeless and socially excluded people a home, companionship, work and the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment. Residents, known as companions, work full time in their community’s social enterprises enabling them to develop skills and build self-respect, whilst also enabling their community to become financially self sustaining.
