We are inviting the local community to a day of fun at our Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Jumble Sale on Saturday, 1 November at Archcliffe Fort, Dover.
The free family-friendly event promises a fun-filled day while raising vital funds to support people who have experienced homelessness. Visitors can take part in a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, following hidden spooky clues around the historic fort to claim free goody bags. There will also be a jumble sale of pre-loved clothes, offering shoppers the chance to buy sustainably while supporting a good cause.
Emmaus Dover provides a home, meaningful work opportunities, and tailored support for up to 27 people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Through its social enterprises and community life, Emmaus offers more than just a bed for the night, helping individuals rebuild their lives and regain independence.
Gerry Golden, Retail Manager at Emmaus Dover, said, “The Emmaus Dover Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Jumble Sale is a fabulous opportunity for the local community to come together and enjoy a spooky family day filled with fun. Every penny raised helps us continue our vital work supporting people who have experienced homelessness to rebuild their lives.
