People supported by our Coventry homelessness charity recently took part in a free ceramics workshop, funded and delivered by the wonderful team at Lighthaus Arts.
This inspiring session gave people the chance to explore their artistic side and create stunning pottery pieces, which have now been fired.
Six companions (people we support) took part and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The results are truly impressive!
Creative activities like this workshop offer more than just a chance to make art. They help to build confidence, encourage self-expression, and provide a sense of achievement. At Emmaus, we understand how important it is to support the whole person, and opportunities like this play a key role in helping people rebuild their lives.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Lighthaus Arts for their generosity and dedication in making this workshop possible. Their support has made a real difference, and we hope to collaborate again in the future to bring more creative opportunities to those we support.
We’re always looking for ways to offer new experiences to the people we support. If you’re interested in collaborating with us or running a workshop, we’d love to hear from you. Please drop us an email to [email protected]
