We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Fine & Country Foundation for their generous £1,500 donation, which has helped us purchase a new oven for our community kitchen.
Our kitchen is at the heart of daily life at Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire. Each day, a different companion is on the rota to cook an evening meal for everyone who is living in the Old Vicarage – our charity’s accommodation in Binley, Coventry. It’s an important part of life here, helping people build confidence, learn new skills and share time together around the table.
The new oven will make a real difference, allowing companions to prepare meals more easily and safely for the whole community.
We’re very grateful to the Fine & Country Foundation for helping us improve our accommodation and communal spaces. Their support helps us continue providing a stable home, tailored support, training and meaningful work opportunities for people rebuilding their lives after homelessness in Coventry and the surrounding area.
