Meet our Tree Nursery Lead, Becca
In 2022, we opened our first social enterprise – Emmaus Community Trees – and in Spring 2024 we welcomed Becca, our Tree Nursery Lead.
We’re in need of volunteers to assist with looking after young trees, mulching, gardening, weeding and building beds. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in! Whether you’re looking for a one-off volunteering opportunity or a long-term commitment, we can accommodate your schedule. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded people, make a positive impact in your community and enjoy the great outdoors.
If you are interested, please get in touch by emailing [email protected] or calling 078308 63073.
Emmaus Cornwall is a small charity with big ambitions and we need to grow our support base in order to deliver our priorities and to make a practical difference in the lives of those on our streets, sofa surfing or who otherwise have nowhere to call home.
As our supporters and volunteers in making this happen, we would love if you signed up to our e-newsletter so we can keep you informed of our progress and share ways in which you can help, whether financially or giving your time.
Andrew, Tree Nursery Volunteer“I enjoy volunteering outdoors and learning more about trees every time I visit. It’s a great way to get out of the house and meet new people. I also really love seeing all the wildlife around the site too.”
