Are you an experienced and qualified PAT tester?
We are looking for a volunteer who can work alongside our companions to PAT test electrical donations, which will then be sold within our social enterprise.
Main duties:
- To work alongside companions function and PAT testing household electrical goods.
- To accurately record and label tested items.
- To price electrical items
- To identify high value items
Skills required:
- Experience and knowledge of PAT testing.
- An understanding of household electrical goods.
- Teamwork and people skills.
- The ability to encourage and empower companions
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a positive attitude.
- A can-do personality
- Eager to support and contribute to the wider team (companions, staff and volunteers)
Time commitment:
We are looking for a volunteer that will commit to at least 1 day per week. We can be flexible in terms of what day(s)/hours, our community is open Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm Sunday 10am – 4pm.
