This year, Emmaus Cambridge is offering bargain hunters 12 days of half price sales in the run-up to Christmas.

Starting from Wednesday 11 December, each day in the charity’s sale will be for a different area of the store. Throughout the festive sale, shoppers can expect 50% off on furniture, household goods, clothing, textiles, electrical items, media and much more.

Also launching from December 1st is affordable Christmas hampers with prices ranging from £5 – £30. The hampers have a variety of different items inside them to create the perfect Christmas gift.

Emmaus is keen to encourage the public to think twice before hitting the high street for their Christmas shopping, and asks instead to visit its Landbeach site first, as Operations Manager Graham Haynes, explains:

“When people shop at Emmaus Cambridge, they’re not only likely to pick up great items at bargain prices, but they’re also helping to generate the funds needed to support people who have experienced homelessness. We’ve been saving up stock for each day of our sale and will be announcing what is reduced on our Facebook page. We’re open from 9am and encouraging people to get down early for the best bargains.”

Emmaus Cambridge supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing a home for as long as needed and the opportunity to learn new skills when volunteering in its social enterprise. All purchases made in the Emmaus social enterprise goes directly back to the charity, helping it to support as many people as possible.

Emmaus is located just off the A10 at Green End, Landbeach. It is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
