Finance and Administration Assistant

Hours: 25 per week with some evening working

Salary: £18,000 pro rata

Holiday: 25 Days plus bank holidays pro rata (17 days)

Emmaus Cambridge is a charity providing a home for up to 44 people who are working their way out of homelessness in our social enterprise by re-selling and recycling furniture and other goods.

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Admin Assistant, with the ability to work from their own initiative to provide day to day support to the Finance Manager and CEO. The job would include bookkeeping, data input, minute taking and general administration.

The post would suit an enthusiastic individual with finance and admin experience looking for a part-time role, as well as a ‘returner to work’ following a career break. Emmaus is an equal opportunities employer and willing to be flexible.

This is a challenging and varied role, working alongside staff, companions and trustees in the delivery of accurate administrative and financial information. To support the overall business and charitable aims and objectives.
