Routine

Turkish Delight (but must- diabetes)

What is the strangest item in the shop that you have come across?

Michals sideboard project with marble top, skulls and candelabra

What do you feel most grateful for?

Good parents and family (+ 100 other things, the list grows daily)

What’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to do in your life, if you’ve done it how did it make you feel and if not then why not?

Become a journalist and travel the world. Did both in two separate jobs prior to ill health

What has been your greatest accomplishment so far?

Conquering my demons. 10 down, 10 to go

In a croft on South Uist, peat on the fire, wet dog under the table and rowboat bringing single malt on Tuesday’s and Friday’s

My best friend, who I haven’t met yet

Who has been the biggest influence in your life so far?

Mum and Dad

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Can’t say. I’m not the same person as I was 10 years ago, and he wasn’t the same as the ‘me’ 10 years before that.

What is your biggest fear?

Dying in ignorance or because of it. Taking my last breath without the first idea what this crazy ride of life was about. Belief in a conscious universe, a new theory helps

If you could be good at something that you are not, what would it be?

Languages, so I could listen to more people from different backgrounds

Where is your happy place, and why?

Alone amid natural scenery when the weather inside my head is good and I can enjoy it

Describe what Emmaus Cambridge means to you?

Too deep a question for me as I tend to over analyse (I spent 1 hour just thinking about the question). We’re into a mind map drawn 6ft x 6ft with this one.
