Our much-loved Christmas Fair, will take place on Saturday 6 December, from 10am to 4pm, at Drove Road, Portslade, Brighton, BN41 2PA.
The festive fundraiser promises a day full of Christmas cheer, featuring live music, delicious food, and plenty of shopping opportunities, to support people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
You can look forward to a wide range of attractions, including seasonal food and drinks, children’s Christmas trail, charity partner stalls, Christmas outfits, toys, games, stocking fillers, plants, and locally grown Christmas trees. The event will also feature festive music from our resident DJ, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers throughout the day.
We provide a stable home, support, training, and meaningful work opportunities for up to 58 people who have experienced homelessness. Our Christmas Fair helps raise essential funds to continue this work and is supported by our companions (residents), volunteers, and local supporters.
Rachida Zitouni, Business Manager at Sussex Emmaus, said, “The Christmas Fair is a highlight of our year and a much-anticipated event for our community. It’s a chance for everyone to come together, enjoy the festivities, and support the work we do to help people who have experienced homelessness. We can’t wait to welcome visitors for a day of fun, shopping, and celebration.”
