This festive season, we are inviting the local community to get creative while supporting a vital cause. We are hosting two exclusive Christmas Wreath Workshops at our historic site in Portslade Village, Brighton.

Each workshop will focus on crafting unique, eco-friendly wreaths using sustainable, upcycled, and reusable materials, helping participants to celebrate Christmas with a greener touch. All proceeds will go directly towards supporting people who have previously experienced homelessness.

Rachida Zitouni, Business Manager at Sussex Emmaus, said:

“These wreath-making workshops are a wonderful way to bring people together at Christmas. Not only will participants go home with a beautiful, sustainable decoration, but they’ll also be helping to change lives by supporting our work with people who have experienced homelessness. We can’t wait to see the imaginative wreaths that everyone produces.”

Since opening in 1997, we have supported over 1,500 people who have experienced homelessness, offering not just a stable home but also meaningful work, training, and community support through its café and six charity shops.

Places for the workshops are limited, so booking is essential.
