Are you a fan of delicious dairy farm ice cream and would like to have the opportunity to serve up? Join our team as a volunteer at our dedicated charity ice cream parlour and scoop Mrs Dowson Dairy Farm flavours in aid of Emmaus Bolton.
Come give your time for good and have some fun helping raise the funds needed by our Emmaus charity to provide a home, support and opportunities to progress for up to 22 people with experience of homelessness, and carry out our charitable work in Bolton.
Key responsibilities include:
🍦Taking orders for delicious flavours of Mrs Dowsons real dairy farm ice cream
🍦Knowing your scoops from your sundaes 😊
🍦Serving up with a smile
🍦Keeping the parlour clean and tidy
🍦Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene
Skills required:
🤝Knowledge of food hygiene standards
🤝Experience of customer service
🤝Teamwork and good people skills
🤝Good knowledge of health and safety
🤝Motivated, enthusiastic and positive attitude
Time commitment:
⏰ We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one full day (10am-3pm) per week, working from our Derby Barracks site. We can be flexible in terms of what day(s) these will be.
