Book now for your chance to get involved in upcycling at Emmaus Bolton!
Emmaus Bolton is a homelessness charity raising money from the reuse of donated items to support our home for people with experience of homelessness.
As well as our charity shops and café off Fletcher Street in Bolton, we also have an on-site recycling centre dedicated to making the most of what we receive.
Come meet the team of recycling volunteers, who devote their time to helping others and to saving items from landfill by creating exciting new items.
Emmaus Bolton volunteer Becca will be leading a tour of our textile recycling and providing a free demonstration of the upcycling work that takes place there.
You’ll be invited to pick your own fabric for free from our Greater Manchester Scrap Store – the place where we provide reusable fabric, and arts and crafts materials in our charity shop courtyard.
Then we’ll help you make your very own draught excluder free of charge – perfect for keeping costs down and your heat! All our textiles are clean and come from factory surplus, end-of-line material or donated clothing we can no longer reuse.
Come and bring your friends to this fantastic free event hosted by Emmaus Bolton’s fabulous recycling volunteers. Due to the available space, places are limited so we advise you book early to be part of this great event, now listing with Recycle for Greater Manchester.
Please arrive promptly at the front desk of the main charity shop at Emmaus Bolton, Fletcher Street, BL3 6NF so we can guide you to our recycling centre for 10:30am.
