You can now download a special logo to help shout about supporting Emmaus Bolton during our 20th anniversary year, thanks to the work of fantastic local illustrator Sonny Ross.
Sonny kindly donated several designs to our homelessness charity, and people supported by Emmaus Bolton, known by the charity as companions, voted on their favourite!
Sonny identifies as non-binary and prefers They/Them pronouns. They said of their chosen design: “I thought the idea of it ‘growing’ was really lovely.”
Sonny graduated from Birmingham City University in 2014 with a first class degree in Illustration, and went on to work full time as a freelance illustrator working in editorial, conceptual, lifestyle, food and children’s books.
Sonny’s clients that include The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Google, Sunday Times Magazine, Polygon, PlanAdviser, The Telegraph, Waitrose, Tesco, The BBC, Intercom, The Skinny, OKIDO, Scoop Mag, Guts Mag, National Express, Oh Comely, Intern Magazine, as well as Emmaus Bolton.
