Jerry Hall undresses for Emmaus
Supermodel, actress and Emmaus supporter Jerry Hall is auctioning her glamorous wardrobe to raise money for Emmaus.
As a lasting style icon, Jerry has enjoyed the limelight, but her generous gesture towards Emmaus shows her concern for those who are excluded and marginalised. Speaking about Emmaus and its values, she explained, “Emmaus is a simple concept; taking unwanted goods and lives that have become difficult and finding a purpose for both, but its impact is phenomenal. I have seen at first hand the lasting difference it makes.”
Although she acknowledges that she has led a very privileged life, Jerry Hall says that she knows how easily people can fall into difficulties and how hard it is to start again. Her motivation for holding this exceptional auction is to contribute towards giving more people a second chance.
“I am so pleased to think that my dresses can lead a new lease of life in someone else’s wardrobe,” says the star, “and at the same time contribute towards creating future Emmaus Communities.”
