Bryn Terfel to sing in support of Emmaus Hampshire
Winchester Cathedral is the venue for a concert featuring international opera star Bryn Terfel on 26th November. Proceeds from the concert will go to Emmaus Hampshire, the recently opened Emmaus Community in Winchester.
The world's best known bass-baritone has already helped raise awareness of the damaging effects on families of homelessness and poor housing in his role as President of Welsh homelessness charity Shelter Cymru.
Bryn will sing alongside soloists and members from the Winchester Music Club, Winchester College Glee Club and Quiristers in a performance of Mendelssohn's 'Elijah'.
There are some tickets still available: Contact the Winchester Cathedral box office on 01962 857251.
