Welcome to Emmaus Burnley!

We are working to set up an Emmaus Community in Burnley. Our project staff are currently based at Emmaus House, Old Hall Street; where renovation work to make it a suitable home for Companions is soon to begin. We are on target to open during 2010.

We are recruiting!

Emmaus Burnley is currently recruiting for a Community Leader and two Assistants, this is a great opportunity to be involved at the start of Burnley's Emmaus Community, and allow formerly homeless people to flourish in a supportive environment.

We are always seeking trustees/volunteers to help us reach our goal of an Emmaus Community in Burnley. Do you have a skill in at least one of the following areas, administration, local community liaison, business development, financial management, social enterprise, marketing, building design and renovation? If the answer is yes, and you would like to make a difference to the life of homeless people in Burnley, then please contact us. We will be happy to hear from you.
